Since 1932, Sterling House has been impacting the lives of thousands of children, teenagers and adults through quality social, educational and recreational programs, programs which enable individuals to develop life skills, become self-sufficient and help those in our community caught in the crossroads of life.
This past year:
- The Sterling House Resource Connection Program and Food Pantry provided enough food to prepare over 51,000 meals, to 8,130 individuals, including over 3,000 children; provided new school supplies to over 300 children starting school in September along with close to 1,000 children with gifts and clothing during the holidays.
- Local youths provided 2,520 hours of volunteer service to the community through Sterling House volunteer programs.
- Over 3,200 local children participated in Sterling House athletic programs.
- Sterling House Preschool, Athletics and Day Camp provided scholarships to over 100 local children.
Sterling House truly is “the center of our community” – dedicated to our mission to foster the physical, social, emotional, artistic, and intellectual growth of the residents of Stratford and the surrounding areas.
Sterling House needs your help to continue servicing the needs of our community. Our donors are the “bricks” that hold us up – we rely on generous friends like you to keep our programs operating effectively.
