What is the Resource Connection Program ?

Established in 1992, the pantry is located in the basement of Sterling House Community Center which was renovated 10 years ago as a result of CDBG funding through the town of Stratford; a facility which includes a waiting room, intake office and food sorting/distribution rooms.

The Sterling House Resource Connection Program offers assistance to individuals and families with basic needs through a wide range of services including food, information and referral, and employment. We organize these services for families, individuals, groups and organizations in a time of crisis.

A variety of food is provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner for 2-3 days; clients can visit pantry once per month unless circumstances warrant this to be more often.
