Stratford Storm Lacrosse is offering Fall Speed Lax for boys and girls. Speed lacrosse is played with a softer ball, so the only equipment needed is a lacrosse stick and a mouth guard. This allows the boys and girls to play and learn together.  Speed lacrosse games are played 3 on 3 on a small field, so this helps to sharpen throwing and catching skills, and teaches quick decision making. There is no checking allowed, so the children will learn to play defense the right way… by moving their feet!

This program will run for 4 weeks, and the cost is $60. There are only 40 available spots for each session so please register now. Games will be played at the Flood Middle School Gymnasium

Wednesday nights from 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Boys and Girls in grades 1 - 4   September 18, September 25, October 2, and October 9

Friday nights from 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Boys and Girls in grades 5 - 8   September 20, September 27, October 4, and October 11

Registration closes on September 15th. Once registration is closed, we will place the players into teams of 3 or 4 players, and those teams will remain the same for the entire session. Each team will get to play 2 games each night. The first 3 weeks will be regular season games, and the final week will be the Playoffs where one team will be crowned the Speed Lax Champion!

This program is perfect for new and returning players.  If you have never played lacrosse, this is the perfect way to learn.  And for the returning players, this is a great way to work on your skills.  Everyone will have the chance to learn and have fun!  Please email John Karafa at with questions
