Our Mission: Arts Alliance of Stratford is a nonprofit organization working to build community and enhance the quality of life in the Stratford, Connecticut region. We collaborate with the public, artists, creatives, and art lovers offering opportunities to learn, teach, create, network, and enjoy the arts.

Our Vision: We believe in a world where our community thrives when the arts are consistently supported by businesses, government and the society at large; where the arts unify us and build common bonds by encouraging diversity and sharing artistic expression; and where people are empowered by the arts to flourish and find their voices.

Guiding Values: The work we do is guided by our commitment to these principles:
Be creative. Build community. Encourage diversity. Support expression. Create opportunities. Drive learning. Bring joy through experiences. Operate with integrity.

The Alliance is based at Sterling House and has access to space for arts activities. The Sterling House community will be able to take part in the Alliance’s programs, meetings, shows, and workshops. The Alliance has renovated the Center’s first floor exhibition room, to house an art gallery.

Our Karate and Ninja Kids Karate program is designed to introduce both young children and beginner adults to the fundamentals of Karate, as well as provide continuing development for advanced students. Sterling Writers Group

“What is a Writers’ Group?

A writers’ group is an informal gathering of writers who meet regularly to share their work, advice, and peer criticism. But more importantly, to provide support and encouragement for one another.

Our Mission is to provide a friendly, supportive, and safe environment to create, share, and have fun with writing.”
