Please place it in a brown bag or a Ziploc bag with the Counselor’s and Child’s names on it. All lunches will not be shared, and they will be sorted by group.

Middle School Camp

To honor our oldest campers, we are excited to provide a differentiated experience for them this summer. Our 7th and 8th graders will exclusively travel on off-site field trips to places such as the Sports Center, Lake Quassy Amusement Park, Roller Magic, and more! Furthermore, our middle school campers will experience their own lounge area, leadership opportunities, community service, and differentiated projects in music and drama and arts and crafts.

All field trips are included in the camper’s tuition. Permission slips will be sent via email for each trip and must be signed and returned electronically in order for your camper to participate. We will be using Google Forms for our permission slips. Arrangements will be made for your camper to participate in an alternative activity if you opt-out.

Any camper that has medication at camp will travel with the counselor on the field trip.

FAQs

  • A backpack, water bottle, bathing suit and towel, a morning snack, and a cold lunch (if you are not utilizing the free lunch program).

  • Your camper will receive it on their first day of camp!

  • No! While they are welcome to wear their camp t-shirt as much as they like, they only need to wear their camp shirts on the day their group is going on a field trip. They are also encouraged to participate in “Wear Your Camp Shirt” Wednesdays!

  • The free lunch program is run through the Sodexo Company. We will receive their schedule as we get closer to camp, and will let families know ASAP. The lunch is typically a sandwich with cheese and deli meat, chips/crackers, a fruit/veggie, and milk! The vegetarian option is a cheese sandwich and is available upon request.

  • Our camp is peanut aware, so if there is a camper in your child's group with a peanut allergy, you will be notified before the session begins so you will be able to provide an alternate lunch if needed.

  • On your camper's first day, they will be given a swim test to decide whether they will need a flotation device to swim. Our pool is 3 feet deep, and all campers must be able to swim from one end of the pool to the other without holding onto the side. All flotation devices are provided at camp. You do not need to send your own.

  • Yes! Late drop-off will occur inside of our camp office. We kindly ask that an adult escorts the camper into camp and sign them in at the camp office. If you need to pick your camper up early for any reason, please come to the camp office to sign them out. We allow early pick-up up to 3:00 pm.

  • The week before camp begins for your camper, you will receive an email with important session information, including your camper's counselor, field trips scheduled for the session, and camp-wide activities.

  • Yes. Campers will remain with their counselor for all sessions they are enrolled in.

  • We ask that all campers wear close-toed shoes. They are very active during the day, and sneakers are typically the best footwear for camp. Open-toed shoes, flip-flops, or sandals are not permitted.
